At Radio 1 FM 91 the go green efforts are increasing tremendously. We started with our brand 91Cares under which various initiatives are taken to look into the awareness, education, guidance of and our contribution towards the society and the environment at large. This year on the Earth Day, 2012 Radio 1 FM 91 proudly launches its campaign "Go Green, 2012 - For all mankind" taking the previous initiatives one step ahead.

Through the Go Green, 2012 campaign Radio 1 FM 91 has provided a platform in the form of a web page where every one can log in and submit their own pledge to do their bit for a greener environment. We welcome all sorts of pledges no matter how big or small they may be.

Moreover, Radio 1 FM 91, in collaboration with renowned NGOs, will give recognition to a university/college with most number of pledges as the ‘Most Environmentally Conscious University’. All this is Radio 1 FM 91’s effort to ensure its responsibility and contribution towards the society and the environment that it is a part of. Due to such efforts Radio 1 FM 91 is proud to be the recipient of National Environment Award, 2008 and the CSR award for the best media campaign, 2012.
